      史蒂芬·霍金(Stephen W．Hawking)及其在我国学术界、出版界、大众、媒体引起广泛反应的“霍金现象”是一种值得研究的公众科学文化现象。本文在有关资料和问卷调查的基础上，初步分析“霍金现象”的成因，诠释“霍金现象”隐喻的公众科学文化内容。

英文摘要:

      Hawking Phenomenon， named after Stephen W．Hawking， is a cultural phenomenon of public science． It has become a current focus in the held of research， publication， the public as well as media． Based on the relevant literature and sufficient survey， the authors of this article attempt to analyze causes of Hawking Phenomenon and decipher implicitly cultural contents of public science in Hawking Phenomenon．
