科技图书出版物发展影响科学传播水平的实证研究

      出版作为科学传播的主要手段，正在成为独立的力量，并在科学传播中发挥着越来越大的作用。那么，科技书刊出版业的发展究竟对科学传播起步大作用呢?本文根据现有的历年来中国新闻出版统计资料，主要分析的是传统出版物中的图书出版物，从科技图书的品种、数量、结构以及阅读率的变化，分析社会对科学技术接受和利用的程度，评估科技图书出版业发展对科技传播的影响。分析发现，科技出版物的品种和印数都呈现良性发展的态势，品种齐全，印数稳定增长，内容越来越丰富和多样化，科技出版物的结构日趋优化，反映了科学技术发展的特征。突出的问题是：每种科技图书平均印数和每种科技图书平均销售量却呈下降趋势。这直接影响了科学技术传播的水平。针对科技出版物中影响科学传播水平的两方面因素，提出了3点建议。

英文摘要:

      AS the main way of science communication，publication is turning to be an independent force and playing more important role in science communication． How can the development of science and technology publications influence science communication? Based on the available statistics of publications in China over these years，the change of breed，quantity，structure and rates of reading preference for science and technology books，this paper analyzes the acceptance of science and technology by the society and the degree of its application，estimates the effect of science and technology books to science and technology communication． The analyses show that the breeds and printing numbers of science and technology books are in good situation．They are of great variety，their printing numbers increase steadily；the contents of the books become rich and diversified． The outstanding problem is： the average kind of science and technology books’printing number and average kind of science and technology books’sales volume are cut down．This affected science communication in a direct way．The authors give three suggestions specifically to improve this situation．
