英文摘要:

      The PUS movement can not only meet the demands of the Public of Participating in democratic affairs through scientific activities，but also promote the development of knowledge economy based on science．To China，PUS is also a cultural movement which compensates the deficiency of Chinese traditional culture．Therefore，PUS is a comprehensive concept with rich connotations changing with the progress of science and technology，the status of China and the evolution of world civilization．
