      In his academic career，Zhu Xi communicated scientific knowledge in various ways．Through annotating classics or teaching，he communicated the knowledge about nature combining with scientific thoughts．He even once edited a popular astronomy book Bu Tiange(步天歌)．Zhu Xi's practice in communicating scientific knowledge played an active role for the development of science and technology at that time．
