      调查表明，科学家肖像画在形成学生对科学家及科学的认识中扮演着重要角色。本文介绍了科学家肖像画研究常见的理论方法，运用问卷调研与访谈的方法，从实证角度证实了科学家肖像画在形成小学生对科学家的认识方面所发挥的重要作用，并将国外肖像画研究与对国内问卷调查结果的分析进行了比较，试图为科学传播引入新的研究视角，开辟新的研究领域，为科学传播实践提供新的路径。

英文摘要:

      Studies based on surveys show that the scientists' portraits as one kind of visual images plays an important role in affecting students' understanding of scientists and science in their minds．This article introduces the usual theory and methodology of research of scientists' portraits，and verifies the essential role of scientists' portraits in the cognitive process of pupils in China through positive studies by means of questionnaire survey and interviews．This article also makes a preliminary comparison of the analysis of the local investigation results with the abroad research of scientists' portraits．The authors suggest a new field in science communication study with a new perspective and provide a new approach for practice．
