      In 2006，Chinese government issued the“Outline of National Action Scheme of Scientific Literacy for All Chinese Citizens”．Science museums in China need to match this scheme to promote the citizens' scientific literacy. There are a lot of new ideas in the development of science museums．The paper focuses on how to build science museums in China，to follow the International trend，to promote the citizens' scientific literacy.
