      Lu Zuofu was a famous industrialist in the modern society. By analyzing current historical materials，we find that Lu is also a prominent educator and science communicator. Here，his thought and practice of science education and his practice have been summarized and discussed. Furthermore，based on the above analysis，an objective appraisal on Lu’s science education engagement is made.
