      Being an important form in science popularization innovation，science show is capturing extensive attention from science and technology museums. Taking the representative case studies regarding science show designing and creation in China science and technology museum as an example，the paper principally expounds on the theme selection，the range of subjects selection，the source for creativity， the story setting，the plot setting，and the connotation of science，etc. It is concluded in the paper that the key of science show designing and creation lies in an in-depth understanding of connotation of science，the themes with scientific connotation are the crucial elements in the whole process of science show，and the respect of laws guiding art creation is an important premise ensuring the success of the science show.
