      天文科普图书是天文科普工作的重要载体，体现了天文科普工作的广度和深度。此外，一定时期天文 科普图书的出版质量和数量，也能够衡量一个国家当时的天文学发展水平。本文对新中国成立至“文革”结束 我国天文科普图书的出版情况进行统计分析，进而总结这一时期天文科普图书出版的利弊得失。这对于促进我 国当代天文科普图书事业的发展，乃至整个科普事业的发展都具有一定的理论意义和现实意义。

      As an important carrier of astronomical science popularization，the publishing development level of astronomical science books rightly reflects the breadth and depth of astronomical science work. At the same time，the number and quality of astronomical science books published in a certain historical period can also reflect the level of astronomical development in a country at that time. The paper makes a statistical analysis of the publishing of astronomical popular science books from the birth of New China to the end of the“Cultural Revolution”，and subsequently summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the publication of astronomical science books during that period. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to promote the publication of contemporary astronomical popular science books in China and even the development of science popularization as a whole.
