      Science museums in advanced countries generally have a set of comprehensive operation mechanism to ensure their survival and development With respect to money—collecting，the primary funding channels are government funds，social financing and outsourcing donation．For evaluation system，normative authentication and diversified assessments play a key role to promote the performance of the museums．This article analyses the successful practices of science museums in this regard and reveals some feasible implications to their Chinese counterparts on the basis of comparison．
