      在创新型国家的建设中，科技创新是创新系统中重中之重的一环。在现代社会，科学已经有别于过去的个人单干、英雄主义形象，它说到底是一项公共性的事业。从战略高度考虑，我们国家要在自己文化特色的基础上，培育丰厚的科学文化土壤，既能够维护科学家的自由探索的空间，使科学界英才辈出，又能够使科学与技术、经济紧密结合，并预防科技异化的负面作用，为社会发展提供源源不断的原动力。

      Science and technology innovation has been one of the most important aspects of the innovation system in the construction of an innovation-oriented nation. In the modem society, science is considered as one of public undertakings rather than an image of heroism. Given these circumstances, it is vital to foster a social environment in considering Chinese culture which is good for both protecting the scientists' right to carry out their research and integrating science with technology and the economy. It will be a big support to the social development and avoiding the alienation of science and technology.
