      今年是世界反法西斯战争胜利七十周年，也是中国人民抗日战争胜利七十周年。抗战时期有两条重要战线：一是军事战线，二是文化战线。我国读书、生活、新知三家杂志社在当时站在了进步文化的最前沿，它们也是文化抗战的重要出版机构和主流媒体，后合并为三联书店。其主要创始人分别为李公朴、艾思奇、邹韬奋、胡愈之、钱俊瑞 、徐雪寒等人。在艰苦的岁月里，三联书店曾团结了几乎所有党内外的进步作者，吸引了千千万万青年爱国者走上民族解放斗争，接着走向社会革命斗争的道路；同时，为新中国的文化出版事业准备和培养了一支经过锻炼的干部队伍。周恩来时刻关注这三家出版社的命运与发展，并经常给予切中要害与时弊的指导。今年，三联后人们在整理历史上作家队伍及其生平事迹时，一致认为高士其是不可或缺的一位重要作家，因为他代表着科学文艺的一个方面与领域，是大众科普的创始人，并发现在抗日战争时期，高士其是文化抗战中的唯一科普作家。高士其之子高志其根据这一历史事实与脉络撰写了本文，叙述了高士其的科普创作与文化抗战的关系，并兼而回顾了高士其先生的一生。

      This year marks the 70th anniversary of the victory of the worldwide anti-fascist war, and also the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people’s war against Japanese aggressors. There existed 2 vitally important front lines during that period in China：1. battle-front line. 2. culture-front line. The 3 magazines entitled Dushu，Xinzhi，and Shenghuo were always standing in the forefront of the progressive culture endeavors，they served as important publishing houses and mainstream media for inspiring the society through culture endeavors during that time. Later on，the aforementioned 3 magazines were merged into one，this is SDX Joint Publishing House. Li Gongpu，Ai Siqi，Zhou Taofen, Hu Yuzhi，Qian Junrui，and Xu Xuehan，etc. were all its principal founders. During that arduous and tough period，the publishing house untied and inspired thousands of enlightened and insightful writers and young patriots around China to embark on a rosy and arduous road of seeking national independence and liberation；more importantly，it prepared and cultivated an array of outstanding talents for culture publishing endeavors in new China. Chinese late premier Zhou En’lai attached great importance to the publishing house where he did his utmost to offer wisdom and guidance for its development. Experts and scholars went into complete agreement that Gao Shiqi is an essentially important writer based on their detailed collections of writers and their biographies in modern China，the underlying reason is that Gao himself represents one specific area in scientific literature and art，and also father of science popularization writing in China. Additionally，he is the only one science popularization writer during that period. Gao Zhiqi, son of Gao Shiqi，contributes to this article based on Gao’s life during that time，where Zhiqi expounds on the intimate relationship between Gao’s science popularization writing and fighting against Japanese aggressors by virtue of culture endeavors，and cherishes the memory of what Gao did for social progress and the continuous development of science and technology throughout his life.
